  The Holy Grail bar and restaurant is a relaxed, casual venue in the heart of Kingston - Green Square. The food is good quality at a reasonable price - sometimes with servings that are very generous. The menu tends towards cafe style pasta dishes, good quality steaks, chicken and several seafood selections. The specials of the day are well worth considering. In summertime it is pleasant to sit outside. The wine list is extensive and very competitively priced - so the place has a rusted on following of regulars who all enjoy a good red after a hard day of work. The owner Ian Meldrum is a well known Canberra restauranteur and social identity who is frequently on the premises spending time chatting with guests and keeping an eye on the place. The Holy Grail is also a popular venue for politicians and journalists, especially during Parliamentary sitting weeks.
