Located in bustling inner city Sydney, not too far from the captivating Royal Botanical Gardens is the renowned Parliament of New South Wales. Formally a privilege reserved for members of the state parliament, the Parliamentary Catering team is now opening its doors to the public for lunch on select dates, as well as making the historic venue available for hire and function catering. Friday High Tea is also a popular attraction, as is the Public Café. Perhaps head for the Strangers’ Dining Room to sample the Prix Fixe three course set menu, or opt for a selection from the a la carte menu, such as the ricotta tortellini with spinach and olive, tomato and basil salad for a delish entrée, before a main like Hiramasa Kingfish with daikon, samphire, semidried tomato and fig salad.
