My husband and I did a five-hour tour with Mark. He is very knowledgeable about Melbourne and Australia. We wanted to see as much of the area as we could in our limited time, so Mark made suggestions that worked out great. We especially enjoyed the interactions with the koalas and kangaroos at the Moonlit Sanctuary. Also the walking tour of the downtown alleyways, and the Brighton Beach bathing boxes. Mark went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time...he was even our private photographer. We highly recommend him!

Our tour was brief and seamless. Mark was right where he said he’d be, right on time when we got off our ship in Melbourne. He took us to Moonlit Sanctuary, where he had arranged a koala encounter for us. Afterward, he showed us around the sanctuary. We had some time left so he showed us around the arcades and lanes in Melbourne, including the very cool street art, a walk along the riverfront, and through Chinatown. He is a local so he gave us a lot of really interesting information and history. Mark was attentive to shaping the tour around our interests. When the tour was over, he gave us a restaurant recommendation (fabulous) and advice on things to do in our other port. He even introduced us to Tim Tams, our new favorite cookies! Well done, Mark. Thanks for the great service.

Mark was an absolutely amazing tour guide! He picked us up from the airport and was waiting for us upon arrival. He greeted us with a goodie bag of Aussie essentials: Tim tams, carmello koalas, and much more. Mark was always on time and catered to ever need we had. He was very flexible and more than happy to cater to anything. He was very sociable and provided amazing insight about OZ. Being that we were an American family we didn’t know much about the history, tourist sites, or anything. Mark provided all his input and recommended great places for us to eat, shop, and hang out. Being that we were a family of 5 with boys and girls ranging of different ages mark always made recommendations that suited all our needs. Mark was a great tour guide and if you’re going to austrialla mark will make sure you see everything you want to see in a short or long time span. Great guide!!

Mark was a wonderful guide. Showed us all around Melbourne included an animal sanctuary and Brighton Beach. We also got out of the van and walked some streets. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

When we travel to new city, we first try to participate in free walking tours to get a feel for the city and then engage a private driver to visit the outskirts or other attractions that we want to see. Fortunately, we found Mark Mark is a true professional and a gentleman. Working with him to organize our itinerary was easy and very straightforward and as a result we had an excellent afternoon. If we come back, we will definitely call Mark

We engaged Mark to do a private shore excursion for us when calling at Melbourne on our recent cruise. Mark was a great choice; firstly, setting up the shore excursion via email with Mark was an absolute pleasure - emails with questions were quickly answered and Mark had lots and lots of patience going over our tour and accommodating the special things we wanted to do. Bravo! We paid in advance though a secure online method with no drama. The tour itself was extraordinary: we saw so much and being a private group we moved at a very quick pace - we saw much more that those utilizing shore excursions organized by the ship. We walked downtown Melbourne, saw the inner suburbs, went to the war memorial, saw charming St Kilda, visited the "Beach Boxes" as part of a drive on the beautiful coast and took in other highlights. Mark also accommodated our special requests: we did a bit of Jewish history and visited a couple of synagogues in Melbourne and its surrounds plus we visited a Jewish area of Melbourne where we enjoyed bagels and could visit kosher shops. Very cool and much appreciated. Finally, Mark made time for us to visit the Australian Open (which was just getting started) so that we could see the site and hit the gift shop for special souvenirs. What a bonus! Small group and private touring is wonderful: its personal, you can set the pace and see exactly what you chose. Mark accommodated all of our wishes and it was a memorable day. Thank you! If visiting Melbourne (especially if travelling by ship when time is limited), Mark's private tours are a great (and cost-effective) way to visit beautiful Melbourne.
