The Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival (official organisation name: Stanthorpe Festival Association Inc.) is one of Queensland’s longest running and most successful Festivals! Voted Queensland in the top 10 favourite Iconic Event/Festival during the Queensland Q150 Celebrations, the Festival is a “must do” on the Queensland events calendar. The biennial festival is a celebration of the Granite Belt region’s produce and booming wine industry. An average of over 70,000 people attend the festival and this is arguably Australia’s leading harvest festival having a successful track record spanning five decades. It’s in Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just north of the New South Wales border.
